Planning Commission
The Planning Commission has seven members who are residents of the Township. They are appointed for 4-year terms by the Board of Commissioners. The Commission:

- Reviews and comments on Comprehensive Plan issues;

|
- Prepares the Zoning Ordinance and the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance for consideration by the Board of Commissioners;
|
|
|
- Reviews and makes recommendations on proposals to rezone land;
|
|
|
- Reviews and makes recommendations on land development and subdivision plans;
|
|
|
- Conducts other planning studies and performs other related projects.

Members of the public are welcome to attend Planning Commission meetings. Regular meetings are held the first Monday of the month, except when conflicting with a holiday, at 6:00 p.m., in the lower level of 1775 Welsh Rd., Mohnton, PA.
